Karen Howe (Director)
Karen has extensive experience working in, and managing many complex payroll systems.
In more recent years Karen has been conducting payroll audits keeping her clients up to date with changes, and ensuring the accuracy of their payroll systems. She has worked across numerous industries such as manufacturing, printing, communication, advertising, various trades and professional service.
Apart from payroll, Karen’s background as a HR Generalist working for The HR People, has provided her with the opportunity to be across various awards, and legislation consulting to SME businesses in different industries.

Karen Vercoe (Director)
Karen has in excess of twenty five years commercial experience, with the last fifteen in a Human Resource capacity. Her experience in this area has been a more generalist capacity.
Karen enjoyed a very successful career in respected law firms throughout South East Queensland holding various administration and management roles. She has been instrumental in the implementation of ISO 9001 Quality Assurance on a number of occasions.
Karen held the position of National Human Resource Manager with a large Software Development and mail house where she acquired the further skills of Workplace Health and Safety and Risk Management. Karen has also gained a thorough knowledge of strategic and operational business planning at professional services and manufacturing levels.
Karen holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Strategic Human Resources and Management Accounting with the University of Southern Queensland.
In 2009 Karen was offered the opportunity to work in the Middle East, employed by the International Law Firm, Clyde & Co to work with their regional offices in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and India. Karen implemented their Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans and addressed staff inefficiencies for their administration teams throughout the regions.
More recently Karen has sought to focus her attention on the legislative compliance for small business, ensuring that her clients are aware of their regulatory obligations.
Karen’s experience gives her breadth of knowledge necessary to be a Director of Fix My Pay and the challenges it will bring.
